Ex-libris Red fishes
Dimensions 5 x 7 cm
In Matisse's paintings, at least three paintings can be identified that present an aquarium with red fish. Of all these works, the one that captivates me the most is "Intérieur, bocal poissons rouges" from 1914. In this piece, the aquarium is positioned in front of a window, allowing the colors of the surroundings to reflect in the water where the fish swim. Inspired by this image, I made the decision to incorporate red fish outside of their aquatic habitat into my collection, allowing them to swim unrestricted on the front pages of the books.

An ex-libris is not only a visually charming ornament, but also a tangible testimony of your love for reading and your desire to share your literary adventures with a personal touch.
