Ex-libris Owl with glasses
Dimensions: 5 x 9 cm

The scientific name for owls is Bubo, bubo, they are so called because of the sounds they make at night. I have created a Bubo, a little silly from reading so much with his glasses. Inspired by the moment when we can't read anymore and we need a break because our eyes don't know where to look anymore. This is an elegant and funny real owl, for those who like to laugh and take life lightly because life is only two days and a thousand books.

An ex-libris made to your specifications

Like all the ex-libris that you will find in my store, this one is made with great care from its design to the final stamp, taking care of every detail so that when you get home you can stamp a thousand readings. Remember that it is personalized with the name you want, so you have to write it in the Inscription section, so that when your stamp arrives home it is ready to stamp your particular collection.

Put an ex-libris on your books

The tradition of ex-libris comes from the invention of writing, the first dated ex-libris were ceramic plates that grouped scrolls. Ex-libris stamps came later with the invention of printing. So putting an ex-libris in your collection is perpetuating a millenary tradition.

Remember that in the "Gifts" section you can buy a gift card so you can choose what you like the most.

It is advisable to clean the ex-libris after each use so that the seal lasts longer. After marking your books, simply take a sheet of paper and stamp until there is no ink left. Do not wash it with water or use solvents, as these could damage the engraving. Avoid rubbing it against abrasive surfaces or scouring pads.

The entire production process takes place in Roser's workshop in Barcelona.
