Bookplate Waves

Dimensions: 3 x 7,5 cm
This model pays tribute to one of the most iconic Japanese prints in the world: "The Great Wave of Kanagawa". Although it is a tribute, I have decided to reinterpret only two of its elements: the waves and Mount Fuji. I have given it a new shape, moving away from the horizontal arrangement of the original print, and created a vertical stamp. In this design, the waves dominate two thirds, while Mount Fuji is presented as a kind of volcano at the top.
A personalized ex-libris to your liking
Like all the ex-libris available in my store, this model is made with great care from its design to the final stamp, taking care of every detail so that, when you get it home, you can stamp a thousand books. Remember that it is personalized with your initials; simply complete the corresponding section so that your stamp, when you get home, is ready to sign your book collection with a personal touch.
Add an ex-libris to your books
The tradition of ex-libris goes back to the invention of writing; the first dated ex-libris were ceramic plates that grouped scrolls. Ex-libris stamps came later with the invention of printing. Therefore, incorporating an ex-libris into your collection is perpetuating a millennia-old tradition.

Perfect! Write the dedication in the "notes" section on the cart screen. The gift will arrive with a postcard with your message on it.
Generally, the manufacturing process of an ex libris stamp takes one business day, so it is usually shipped the day after you place your order.
Once you have marked your books with the ex-libris, take a sheet and stamp the stamp until there is no mark left when stamping. Then, store it in the cloth bag you received with the stamp to protect it from dust and keep it in perfect condition.
